Wolt is an online food ordering and delivery service that takes orders via a mobile app. It was founded in 2014 in Helsinki and has since expanded to over 20 cities, including Tampere, Turku,[1] Tallinn, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Prague, Tbilisi and Tartu.[2][3] Wolt allows any restaurant to sign up as a merchant,[4] mediating the order from the customer, taking care of the delivery and automatic payment by credit card.[5] As of April 2018, Wolt claimed to deliver food from over 1400 restaurants.[4]

Wolt is also experimenting with self-driving delivery robots in Tallinn in cooperation with Starship Technologies.[6][7]
