Woh Apna Sa (English: Like My Own) is an Indian Hindi soap opera television series, which premiered on 23 January 2017 and is broadcast on Zee TV.[1] The series is produced by Rashmi Sharma who is famous for her show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.[2] The main characters are played by Disha Parmar, Riddhi Dogra and Sudeep Sahir. Dogra was later replaced by Manasi Salvi. The series ended on 20 July 2018[3].

Plot Summary

The show is about the story of a young man Aditya Jindal (Sudeep Sahir) who has had a troubled marriage with a selfish wife Nisha Jindal (Riddhi Dogra). He chooses to remain with Nisha for the sake of their daughters Chinni Jindal (Swasti Katyal) and Binni Jindal (Elisha Jawrani) and his family who think highly of Nisha. A girl named Jhanvi Agarwal (Disha Parmar) enters Aditya's life and as a deep bond develops between them, he turns to her for support in ending his marital problems for good.

The story progresses with Nisha's true colours exposed before her family. Aditya divorces Nisha as he and Jhanvi fall in love and after a period of hardships, they are able to get married but their happiness is short-lived as Nisha seeks revenge by killing both Aditya & Jhanvi near Kuldevi Temple.

20 Years Later

Aditya and Jhanvi are reborn as Arjun Sinha (also Sudeep Sahir) and Jia Mehra (also Disha Parmar) respectively. Jia is a model in London and Arjun is a petty cheat. Aditya and Nisha's elder daughter Chinni Jindal (Charvi Saraf) has grown up hating Nisha (now Manasi Salvi) and misses Jhanvi and Aditya. Arjun and Jia finally meet and the story focuses on how they remember their previous lives and finally unite much to Nisha's chagrin. The story then focuses on tensions in Jia and Arjun's relationship.

The story also focuses on Aditya & Nisha's another daughter Binni Jindal (Tanya Sharma) who is in love with Arjun's brother Aakash Sinha (Kinshuk Vaidya). After many time, Arjun-Jia's wedding and Binni-Aakash's wedding is fixed. On the wedding day, Arjun & Aakash's mother Ambika Sinha (Alka Kaushal) brings a woman named Rano (Sara Khan) who is revealed to be Arjun's wife. After Arjun's truth is revealed, the both weddings are breaked.

Next day, it is shown that Jia and Aakash get married and when Aakash & Jia go to the Sinha house, Ambika slaps Aakash. Soon, it is revealed that Jia-Aakash has faked their marriage, as Jia wanted Arjun back. It is revealed Rano is not Arjun's wife and Ambika is blackmailing Arjun because she has bought Rano to create misunderstandings between Arjun-Jia. Later, it was revealed that Rano had kidnapped Arjun & Aakash's father and kept him for many years. Then all the family members start their mission to find him and they successfully reached & saved him from Rano.

Then, the police arrives and arrests Rano. Then, Arjun and Jia get married. Nisha came back in the lives of Jia & Arjun to take revenge from them.
