William P. Robinson

William P. (Bill) Robinson (born 1949 in Elmwood, Illinois) is a president emeritus of Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. He served as the president of Whitworth from 1993–2010.[1]

Robinson is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and Wheaton College, and earned a doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh.[1]

Robinson has also served as chairman of the Spokane Regional Chamber of Commerce.[1][2] He has written two books on leadership, and distributes a monthly newsletter entitled "Of Mind & Heart".[2]

In 2015, Robinson received the Senator Mark O. Hatfield Leadership Award from the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.[3]
