William H. Grier

William H. Grier was an American psychiatrist. He published the book Black Rage in 1968 with his colleague Price M. Cobbs.[1]

He was born on February 7, 1926 in Birmingham, Alabama.[2]

He attended Howard University then went on to receive an M.D. from the University of Michigan and became a psychiatrist.[2]

He is the father of David Alan Grier. He died on September 3, 2015 in Carlsbad, California.[2]
