Wallace E. "Wally" Wingert (born May 6, 1961) is an American actor, voice actor, singer and former radio personality.[1] Some of his best-known roles include Jon Arbuckle in The Garfield Show, Almighty Tallest Red in Invader Zim, the Riddler in Batman: Arkham, and Renji Abarai in Bleach. He is not related to fellow voice-over actor Mick Wingert.[2]
Early life
Wingert was born in Des Moines, Iowa, but soon moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In the early 1980s, he appeared as disc jockey "Dennis Jimenez" (Dennis the Menace) on KELO AM1320 in Sioux Falls.
Career
He was the announcer for the second incarnation of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (and the short-lived primetime spinoff The Jay Leno Show before it), and the current voice of Jon Arbuckle in The Garfield Show. He is also known for his role as one of The Almighty Tallest in Invader Zim (along with Kevin McDonald), Ant-Man/Giant-Man from The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, the Riddler from the Batman: Arkham video game series, Renji Abarai from Bleach, and Kotetsu T. Kaburagi/Wild Tiger from Tiger & Bunny.
Music
In 1989, Wingert parodied the Escape Club song "Wild, Wild West" on the Dr. Demento radio show as "Adam West," in response to the casting of Michael Keaton as the title character for that year's Batman film.

He currently works and lives in Los Angeles, California.
