Walker Riverside Academy is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in the Walker area of Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, England.[1]

It is an Academy Converter administered by The Tyne Coast Academy Trust. The school was also previously granted specialist status as a Technology College and continues to offer technology as a specialism. In 2018, Walker Technology College became Walker Riverside Academy when it became an academy and a part of the Tyne Coast Academies Trust.

Walker Riverside Academy offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils, while students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A-levels and further BTECs.

Walker is one of eleven schools to be rebuilt in the governments phase 2 PFI scheme of Newcastle Building Schools for the Future programme. It is consulted by Aura North East and facilities managed by Robertson Group.
