Wakaleo alcootaensis was a species of marsupial lions of the genus Wakaleo, that lived during the late Miocene, about 10 million years ago and was about the size of a dog.[1]

It has been found in Alcoota in the Northern Territory of Australia, and is known from a single fossil maxilla fragment[1] found in 1974 by Dr. Michael Archer.
