The station is owned by Ion Media Networks. WTPX-TV's transmitter is located near Glandon, Wisconsin. The station's official studio facilities for the purposes of Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations are located in the Milwaukee suburb of Glendale with the Milwaukee market's Ion station, Kenosha-licensed WPXE-TV (channel 55).
