WTHE (1520 AM) is an American radio station broadcasting a Gospel music format, licensed to the New York City suburb of Mineola, New York. The station has been owned by Universal Broadcasting of New York since 1998.[1]
WTHE broadcasts during daytime hours only, from local sunrise to sunset in order to protect WWKB in Buffalo, New York, a clear-channel station on the same frequency that can frequently be heard in the New York City area after dark. WTHE's programming, however, is available 24 hours daily on its webstream.
The station has been silent since January 25, 2018 after being evicted from their transmission site.[2]
