Viva Air Colombia (formerly VivaColombia) is a Colombian low-cost airline based in Rionegro, Antioquia, Colombia.[2] It is a subsidiary of Irelandia Aviation.
Plans
At first, Viva Air Colombia had two options for operation of aircraft: the Boeing 737 or Airbus A320. In a press conference on November 10, 2011, was announced to the public that in 2012, the aircraft chosen will be the A320 fitted with CFM engines high performance for the airline's better economy and improved consumer prices. They serve 23 routes within Colombia and 2 international destinations to Lima and Miami.

Viva Air Colombia started operations with a fleet of eight Airbus A320-200s. On March 3, the first A320 arrived (ex-Thomas Cook Airlines.) The three aircraft on order will be transferred from Turkish Airlines.[5]
