Vittoria Coffee is an Australian subsidiary of Cosmo Foods and is a manufacturer of coffee products. Founded in Sydney in 1947 by brothers Orazio and Carmelo Cantarella,[1] the business was established as an importer of Continental European foods. In 1958 they began roasting small amounts of premium Arabica coffee at their food importing premises in the Sydney’s suburb of Haymarket, initially supplying Sydney’s first ‘Italian cafés’.

Les Schirato and his wife Luisa (daughter of Orazio Cantarella, one of the founders) now own 51% of the business, with the remaining stake owned by Clelia Winton (Luisa's sister).[1]

Vittoria began an expansion into the United States market in 2014, headed by Rolando Shirato, son of Les and Luisa.[2] Today, Vittoria is Australia's largest and best known coffee company and supplies coffee to many restaurants and cafés around the country in addition to selling its coffee in supermarkets and retail outlets.
