Violet Augusta Roche

Violet Augusta Roche MBE (18851967) was a New Zealand journalist and welfare worker. She was born in Te Awamutu, Waikato, New Zealand in 1885.

She is credited with reviving and sustaining the New Zealand branch of the Barnardo’s children's charity for many years.[1]
