Vijaya Lama (Nepali: विजय लामा) also known as Captain Vijaya Lama, is a Nepalese actor, singer, television presenter, social activist and senior aircraft pilot of Nepal Airlines.[1] He has acted in more than thirty Nepali movies such as Raanko, and Truck Driver. He appeared in the Hollywood film Everest starring Josh Brolin, Jake Gyllenhaal, Matthew Henderson and more, to play the crucial character of the rescue pilot Col. Madan KC[2][3] Vijaya Lama also participated as a solo singer in Melancholy song by 365 Nepali Artists which set the Guinness World Record for "Most Vocal Solos in a Song Recording".[4][5][6]
