Victoria Memorial Home or Yateem Khana-e-Victoria or Victorial Memorial Home Residential High School is a historic school and orphanage located in Saroornagar in Hyderabad in the Indian state of Telangana.[1][2] It is on a 70-acre campus.

History

Saroornagar-e-Mahal was a palace constructed in 1901 for the Sixth Nizam, Mir Mahboob Ali Khan as his palace, but was donated to the orphanage named after Queen Victoria.

VM Home is used and shown as a villain's den in Telugu and Hindi movies.

Controversy

Eighteen acres of the school's was allegedly sold illegally to a Mumbai-based party for 450 crores. When the media reported the transaction, it was cancelled.
