Life

Ntetema was born in Tanzania in about 1959. She worked as a bureau chief for BBC Radio in her home country. She came to notice when she broke a story about the murder of albino people in Tanzania and Burundi. She required around the clock protection and had to leave the country twice for her own protection.[1] Ntetema discovered that witch doctors believed that albino people had magical powers.[1] She later left the BBC and led a charity called Under the Same Sun to address the problems of albino people.[2]
