Vernon Carey Jr. (born February 25, 2001) is an American basketball player who attends NSU University School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is considered one of the top college recruits in the class of 2019.[1]
High school career
Carey began playing high school basketball in 2015 with University School of Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida. He played at the 2015 Battle at The Villages high school tournament. He also played at the 2017 City of Palms Invitational and the 2017 John Wall Invitational which he led his team to the championship in both.
