The Vărbilău River is a right tributary of the river Teleajen in Romania.[1] It discharges into the Teleajen in Dumbrăvești. It starts at the confluence of headwaters Vărsăturile, and Clăbucet. It flows through the villages Târșoreni, Scurtești, Ștefești, Aluniș, Livadea, Vărbilău, Poiana Vărbilău, Coțofenești and Dumbrăvești.
