The untitled M. Night Shyamalan drama series is an upcoming American psychological thriller web television series created and written by Tony Basgallop who will also executive produce alongside M. Night Shyamalan. The series is produced by Apple's worldwide video programming division.

Premise

The series reportedly follows "parents Dorothy and Sean Turner, who have hired young nanny Leanne to help care for their newborn child." As time goes on, it becomes clear that "things are not quite as they seem."[1]

On February 27, 2018, it was announced that Apple had given the production a series order for a first season consisting of ten episodes. The series was created by Tony Basgallop who is also set to write for the series and executive produce alongside M. Night Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan, Jason Blumenthal, Todd Black, and Steve Tisch. Production companies involved with the show are set to include Blinding Edge Pictures.[2][3][4]

Casting

On August 22, 2018, it was announced that Lauren Ambrose and Nell Tiger Free had been cast in two of the series three lead roles.[1]
