See is an upcoming American drama web television series produced by Apple's worldwide video programming division. It is set to be written by Steven Knight and directed by Francis Lawrence. Executive producers include Knight, Lawrence, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kristen Campo.

Premise

See takes place in "a future when the human race has lost the sense of sight, and society has had to find new ways to interact, to build, to hunt, to survive. All of that is challenged when a set of twins with sight is born."[1]

Development

On January 10, 2018, it was announced that Apple had given the production a series order for a single season. The series is set to be written by Steven Knight and directed by Francis Lawrence. Executive producers include Knight, Lawrence, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kristen Campo. Production companies involved with the show include Chernin Entertainment and Endeavor Content.[2][3][4][5][6][7]

Casting

In July 2018, it was announced that Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard had been cast in series regular roles.[1][8][9][10] In August 2018, it was announced that Yadira Guevara-Prip, Nesta Cooper, Sylvia Hoeks, and Archie Madekwe had joined the main cast.[11][12]

Filming

Principal photography for the first season is expected to begin in the summer of 2018.[13]
