United Shades of America is a CNN American documentary television series starring W. Kamau Bell.[1][2][3][4][5]
'United Shades of America' follows comedian and political provocateur W. Kamau Bell as he explores communities across America to understand the unique challenges they face.
The show airs on CNN Sundays at 10:00 PM ET/PT,[6] and won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program[7] category at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards and the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards.
CNN renewed the series. A second season with eight new episodes aired in 2017.[8] The third season began on April 29, 2018.[9]
