Tyrannosaurus Tex is an unreleased first-person shooter video game for the Nintendo Game Boy Color portable console.[1] The game generated high expectations, as it would have been the only first-person shooter released for the Game Boy Color.[2]
A 30 minutes gameplay footage video was released to the Internet, after the prototype cartridge was sold at auction.[2]
On March 8th 2016, Piko Interactive announced that they had acquired the rights to the game with a planned release date of 2017. Piko will be finishing the game and in addition port it to PC and "other" platforms.[3]
