Truncorotaloidiae is a family of globigerid forams belonging to the superfamily Globorotalioidea in the suborder Globigerinina[1] and the order Globigerinda,[2] found in marine sediments of the early Paleocene (Danian) up to late Eocene (Priabonian)

Discussion

Further classifications had elevated Truncorotaloididae to a superfamily category, that is the Truncorotaloidinoidea superfamily.[3]

Genera

  • Globigerapsis
  • Igorina
  • Morozovella
  • Morozovelloides
  • Muricoglobigerina
