Trevor J'Daniel Rogers (born November 13, 1997) is an American baseball pitcher.

Career

Rogers attends Carlsbad High School in Carlsbad, New Mexico. As a junior, he was 9–2 with a 0.70 earned run average (ERA) and 122 strikeouts and helped lead his team to victory in the 6A state championship game.[1]

Rogers committed to the Texas Tech University to play college baseball.[2] Considered one of the top prospects for the 2017 Major League Baseball draft,[3][4] the Miami Marlins selected him with the 13th overall selection.[5] Rogers signed with Miami for $3.4 million.[6]

Rogers made his professional debut in 2018 with the Greensboro Grasshoppers.

Personal life

His cousin, Cody Ross, played in Major League Baseball.[7][8]
