Travis A. Greaves is an American lawyer. Currently serving as deputy assistant attorney general in the United States Department of Justice's tax division, he has been nominated to become a Judge of the United States Tax Court. Greaves was previously a partner at Greaves & Wu, LLP, in Washington, D.C. He also served as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center and as an attorney advisor at the U.S. Tax Court.[1]

Education

Greaves received his B.A. from the University of Tennessee, his J.D., cum laude, from South Texas College of Law, and an L.L.M. in taxation, with distinction, from Georgetown University Law Center.[1]

Nomination to tax court

On August 27, 2018, President Trump nominated Graves to serve as a Judge of the United States Tax Court.[2]
