Tracey Mann (born 1976/77) is an American businessman and politician, the 50th and current Lieutenant Governor of Kansas.[2] He was appointed by Governor Jeff Colyer in February 2018, after Colyer became Governor.
Mann resides in Salina, Kansas, where he works as a commercial real estate broker. He also owns a farm in Quinter, Kansas.[3]
Political career
Mann ran for Kansas's 1st congressional district in 2010, losing to Tim Huelskamp in the Republican primary. During the campaign, he expressed support for birtherism, although he has since renounced those beliefs.[3]
Two weeks after Jeff Colyer ascended to the office of Governor of Kansas, Mann was appointed to serve as Colyer's Lieutenant Governor.[4] He was sworn in on February 14, 2018.
