Topi Raja Sweety Roja is a 1996 Telugu comedy film, produced by Dr. A. Vijayalakshmi under the Sri Sai Madhavi Productions banner and directed by Dr. N. Siva Prasad. It stars Rajendra Prasad, Roja in the lead roles and music composed by Hero Rajendra Prasad.[2]
Plot
Raja (Rajendra Prasad) a young & energetic guy lives in a village along with his mother Janakamma (Annapurna). Everyone in the village likes him because of good nature and his helpfulness however in need. Roja (Roja) a beautiful girl, daughter of Zamindar of the village loves Raja from childhood. Roja's maternal uncle Bobby (Babu Mohan) who wants to marry her comes to know regarding the love affair of Raja & Roja. So, he makes a plan when there are celebrations in the village temple, with the help of robbery gang headed by Kota (Kota Srinivasa Rao) robs the jewelry of god and keeps the blame on Raja involving the temple priest (Rallapalli) also. Everyone in the village believes it, Police arrests Raja but he somehow escapes from them and reaches the city. Meanwhile, in the city, the robbers were witnessed by a baby girl called Baby (Baby Disha) guardian by a Church Father (Suthi Velu). The robbers try to kill Baby but fortunately, she is protected by Raja and Father gives shelter to him. Once Raja goes into a critical situation that Police about catch him when Father uses a magical cap which makes a man invisible to save him. After some time, seeing Raja's honesty Father gives the cap to him to solve his problem and takes a promise from him that he never misuse it. Rest of the story is a comic tale that how Raja is teasing the robbers and helping the general public using the magical cap. Finally, Raja gets back the jewelry, catches the real culprits and proves his innocence with the help of Roja.
