Tommy Sugiarto (born 31 May 1988 in Jakarta) is an Indonesian badminton player who is a singles specialist.[1] He competed at the 2014 Asian Games and 2016 Summer Olympics.[2][3]

Personal life

Tommy Sugiarto is the son of the former badminton world champion Icuk Sugiarto.[4] He has also a younger sister named Jauza Fadhila Sugiarto (born 1999) who is also a badminton player and represented Indonesia in the 2014 BWF World Junior Championships.[5] In December 2016, he married to Annisa Nur Ramadhani.[6]

BWF Superseries (1 title, 3 runners-up)

The BWF Superseries, launched on December 14, 2006 and implemented in 2007,[9] is a series of elite badminton tournaments, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF). BWF Superseries has two level such as Superseries and Superseries Premier. A season of Superseries features twelve tournaments around the world, which introduced since 2011,[10] with successful players invited to the BWF Superseries Finals held at the year end.
