The presence of Togolese people in Italy dates back to the 1980s.
Numbers
In 2006, there were 2,695 legal residents from Togo residing in Italy, rising to 4,422 by 2010 and 5,090 by 2015. The three cities with the largest number of Togolese people are Rome, Lodi, and Milan.[1]
