The Flenser (also known as Flenser Records) is a San Francisco-based record label specializing in experimental music.[1] The Flenser's risk-taking ethos has been rewarded with notoriety and clout in the international heavy metal music community.[2][3][4] Notable bands that work with or have worked with The Flenser include: Have a Nice Life, Botanist, Deafheaven, Wreck and Reference, Bosse-de-Nage, and Planning for Burial.[5][6][7][8][9]
