The Basement Recordings III is a demo release by Canadian singer-songwriter Alexz Johnson and her brother, Brendan Johnson. It is the sequel to The Basement Recordings II demo album, released in 2012 and the third overall installment to The Basement Recordings album series.

Development

The Basement Recordings III consists of demo material recorded by Johnson that has not made its way to a release. The album was announced on January 14, 2013 by Brendan Johnson via Twitter,[1] while Alexz confirmed the release the following day.[2] The album was released digitally on February 20, 2013.[3]
