Construction of Thamrin Nine Tower 1 started in 2014, which is expected to be complete by 2018. This is one of the twin paired towers, the lower 4 floors of which will be linked by retail podium. The architectural height of the tower 1 is 333.5 meters. The tower will have 70 floors above and 6 floors below the ground. There will be an observation deck at the tower. The tower is designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates.[2] Lower 45 floors of the tower is for office, where as upper floors from 46th will be occupied by Waldrof Astoria Hotel.[3][4] It is a class A, green skyscraper with platinum rating and saves up to 30 percent of energy compared to a conventionally-constructed tower of the same scale.[5]

Tower 2 will have 62 floors above and 6 floors below the ground, which will be a skyscraper 275 meters tall.[6]This tower will house Park Royal Hotel and Park Royal suits, which will be managed by Pan Pacific Hotel Group.[7] The apartment towers block of the complex is named as Le Parc.
