Technicolor Animation Productions[1] (previously named OuiDo! Productions, Timoon Animation and Genao Productions) is a French-based animation studio. Since their founding, they have created multiple successful television series internationally. These include Sonic Boom, Mini-Wolf, and The Legendaries. TAP often provides animation for DreamWorks Animation.

History

Technicolor Animation Productions was founded in May 2003 by Philippe Mounier as Genao Productions. The company has gone through multiple name changes since its foundation. In 2007 the company was renamed to Timoon Animation. In 2012, the company was bought up by the Lagardère Group, and promptly renamed to OuiDo! Productions. On February 25, 2015, Technicolor SA acquired OuiDo! Productions, and thus renamed once again to Technicolor Animation Productions. After the Technicolor SA purchase, OuiDo! works were retroactively credited with the new company name and logo, replacing the OuiDo! logo.

It partnered up with American-based Bagdasarian Productions to produce the 2015 ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks with PGS Entertainment. Alvin and the Chipmunks started airing in March 2015 and April 2015 respectively in the United States and United Kingdom on Nick Jr..
