Tandon

Tandon (Punjabi: ਟੰਡਨ) (Hindi: टण्डन) is a surname from northern India, notably found in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. Tandon is a Punjabi Khatri clan from India. It is a popular Khatri family name of both Hindus and Sikhs. Tandon is a warrior caste belonging to Punjab. It is also found among Kshetri community in Nepal who had originally migrated from Punjab to establish the rule.[note 1]
