Tallulah Harlech (born Tallulah Sylva Maria Ormsby Gore; 16 May 1988) is an English Fashion Stylist and consultant notable for her styling work in both Pop Magazine and Arena Homme +.[1] She is the daughter of Amanda Harlech[2] and the late Francis Ormsby-Gore, 6th Baron Harlech. She was born in Shropshire and grew up with her bohemian cousins, the Raineys.[3]

Early life

As a child Tallulah and her brother spent their summer breaks at Karl Lagerfeld's house in Biarritz.[4] Starting from the age of 18 she at first attended Cheltenham Ladies' College in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire but due to the lack of artistic opportunities she applied to Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York where she remained for two and a half years.[5]

Career

Modeling

In 2007 Tallulah went to New York City where she began assisting in fashion[6] which was followed by her working for John Galliano and Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel.[5] When asked by Alison Taylor of The Daily Telegraph regarding working there she was quoted saying:

'It's been an honour. And I hope I can use the fact that I've been fortunate to develop my own ideas.'

In 2012 she attended Fashion Night's Out along with Daisy Lowe, Matthew Williamson, Laura Bailey, Harold Tillman, Suki Waterhouse, Portia Freeman and Manolo Blahnik[7] and then attended Valentino Garavani's party at the Somerset House. There, she was among the models and designers such as Alexa Chung, Edie Campbell, Julia Restoin Roitfeld, Dita Von Teese, Carolina Herrera, Stella McCartney, Giancarlo Giammetti, Olivia Palermo, Natalie Massenet, Joan Burstein, and Kristen McMenamy as well as journalists Alexandra Shulman and Sarah Ferguson.[8] The party was followed by a dinner between her, Victoria Beckham and Valentino Garavani at the Italian Embassy.[8]

In 2016 she appeared on the Jonathan Baron's Baron magazine[9] and in 2017 was one of the models invited to Alexa Chung's fashion shows at the Danish Church of Saint Katherine in North West London.[10]

Acting

As an actress Tallulah was known for appearing in such films such as Spite and Malice and well as a part in a Broadway play Richard III in which she played a wife of Richard III which was played by Anatol Yusef.[5]

In 2010 she appeared in Sports de Filles.[11]

In 2013 she appeared in a short film called Once Upon a Time... along with Keira Knightley, Stella Tennant, Saskia de Brauw and Lindsey Wixson[12][13] where she player a role of Ève Lavallière.[14]

Activism

In 2015 Tallulah along with Jo Malone had launched a #Just Because campaign.[15]

Currently she is the sole owner of the Premier agency.[5]

Personal life

Tallulah is a paleolithic dietician which prevents her from eating dairy, meat and salt but allows for grilled fish over a buttery risotto, as long as its vegetarian. She takes yoga and other fitness classes once a week at the Equinox Fitness as well as palettes at the bootcamppilates.com.[16]

Before sleep, Tallulah listens to meditation tapes, one of which is of Ram Dass. She does her haircut at Josh Wood's salon and does her mani and pedicures at Julie Nails in Notting Hill. She also engrossed skincare and LED therapy which is done by no other than Teresa Tarmey. Her favorite book is Clean by Alejandro Junger.[16]
