Takuya Kai (甲斐 拓也, Kai Takuya, born November 5, 1992 in Ōita, Ōita, Japan) is a professional Japanese baseball player. He plays catcher for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks.

He was selected 2018 NPB All-Star game.[1] On October 10, 2018, he was selected Japan national baseball team at the 2018 MLB Japan All-Star Series.[2]
