Tajikistan Second League (Tajiki: Лигаи дуввуми Тоҷикистон / Ligai duvvumi Tojikiston; Russian: Вторая лига Таджикистана) — semiprofessional football league in Tajikistan, the third level of importance after the Tajikistan Higher League and Tajikistan First League in the Tajikistani national football championship — Tajikistan Football League. After the Tajikistan Second League in the system of football leagues of the country is the Tajikistan Regional Leagues.
Is operated under the auspices of the Tajikistan Football League Organization and Tajikistan Football Federation. The year of foundation of the Tajikistan First League is not known. According to some reports, the Tajikistan First League was founded in 1992.
The Tajikistan Second League is held in the form of regional tournaments. Teams are divided according to the regional principle. The winners of these regional tournaments will be able to play in the Tajikistan First League next season. In some seasons, the winners of zonal tournaments play with each other, and the strongest club or clubs get a ticket to the First League[1][2][3].
