Sylvestre Nsanzimana

Sylvestre Nsanzimana (born 5 January 1936) served as Prime Minister of Rwanda[1] from 12 October 1991 to 2 April 1992. He belongs to the National Republican Movement for Democracy and Development and previously served as minister of justice in Juvénal Habyarimana government. He stepped down as prime minister following the refusal of opposition parties to take part in the government.[2] He was born in Gikongoro Province.[3]

He also served as Rwanda's Foreign Minister from 1969 to 1971.
