Swiss Founders Fund (SFF) is a Swiss venture capital firm, headquartered in St. Gallen.[1] The firm invests in seed & early stage ventures globally and incubates own startups. The portfolio of Swiss Founders Fund includes ventures in Asia and Europe.[2]

History

The fund was established by Christian Mischler and Patrick Degen in October 2013 and incorporated as Aktiengesellschaft in Switzerland.[1] Both founding partners still serve on the board of Swiss Founders Fund and are managing its investments.

Christian Mischler is co-founder of HotelQuickly and was previously co-founder of Rocket Internet's Foodpanda;[3][4] Patrick Degen is co-founder and CEO of Swiss publishing house Mindprep Verlag AG.[5][6]

Investments

Swiss Founders Fund has invested into startups in Asia and Europe, predominantly in edu tech, travel tech, property tech, marketplaces, and publishing. The fund makes investments in B2B and B2C ventures. The portfolio includes i.a. HotelQuickly, Uniseminar, Talendo, LEGI, Taembe, Caterspot, GuestReady, GotCourts, Global DCX, Everphone, Made For, Bring.[2][7][8][9][10][11]
