Swalcliffe Park School is a specialist residential and day school for boys aged 11-19 who have needs arising from their autism spectrum conditions. Across the educational day and residential settings, the school emphasises the development of students communication, independence, self-management and personalised achievement. It has received 5 consecutive 'Outstanding' Ofsted ratings. Many pupils have additional needs associated with other diagnoses e.g. ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia or Specific Language Impairment. The school is recognised nationally as a "confident, outward looking centre of excellence" for students with autism, and has been consistently rated as "outstanding" by Ofsted.[1] Swalcliffe Park School is run by the Swalcliffe Park School Trust, which is a registered charity. It is situated in Swalcliffe Park, a former stately home originally built in the 16th century and remodeled in the 18th century.[2]
