Surak is a village in Bhulath Tehsil in Kapurthala district of Punjab State, India. It is located 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Bhulath, 21 kilometres (13 mi) away from district headquarter Kapurthala. The village is administrated by a Sarpanch who is an elected representative of village as per the constitution of India and Panchayati raj (India). [2]

According to the report published by Census India in 2011,Surak has 123 houses with the total population of 549 persons of which 280 are male and 269 females.
