Suparna Anand is an Indian actress from New Delhi. She attended Modern School Barakhamba Road (New Delhi). She has appeared in Malayalam and Hindi films. She is very popular among Malayali audience for her portrayal of the titular Vaishali in the movie Vaishali, directed By Bharatan and written by M. T. Vasudevan Nair, as well as her performance as Bhama in Njan Gandarvan, written and directed by P. Padmarajan.

Career

Suparna Anand (born 1972 in New Delhi) started acting in the year 1986 and continued until 1997. She acted many Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films in lead roles. She acted in the role of Jyoti Deshmukh in the Anil Kapoor-Madhuri Dixit starrer Tezaab (1988).

Personal life

Suparna's parents were interior designers and she has a younger sister. She was married to her co-star, Sanjay Mitra, of her first movie, Vaishali in 1997 and divorced in 2008. They have two children. In 2010 she married a Delhi-based business man. She prefers to stay away from the limelight leading a quiet life in Delhi.[1]
