Sun Bo (Chinese: 孙波; born 1961) is a Chinese business executive and engineer who served as General Manager of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), one of ten largest state-owned military industry groups in China.[1]

On June 16, 2018, Sun was placed under investigation by the Communist Party of China's anti-corruption agency.[2] He is the 10th vice-ministerial level official in China caught since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.[3]

Biography

Born in 1961, Sun graduated from Dalian University of Technology in August 1982. He spent 27 years working at Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd before serving as General Manager of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), a position at vice-ministerial level.[3]

He was put under investigation for alleged "serious violations of discipline and laws.", a brief statement issued by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI).[4]
