Sumangali is a 1965 Telugu, drama film, produced by T. Govindarajan under the Venus Pictures & Ashok Movies banner[2] and directed by Adurthi Subba Rao.[3] It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Savitri in the lead roles,[4] with music composed by K. V. Mahadevan.[5] The film is a remake of the Tamil film Sarada (1962), which was first remade as the Hindi movie Suhagan (1964).[6]
