Strömsund (Southern Sami: Straejmie) is a locality and the seat of Strömsund Municipality in Jämtland County, Sweden with 3,589 inhabitants in 2010.[1]

Tourism

Strömsund is famous for being pictured in the famous Swedish movie Dunderklumpen. The largest population of brown bears in the world can be found here, in the area around the village Svaningen.
