Storforshei is a village in the Dunderland Valley in the municipality of Rana in Nordland county, Norway. The village is located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northeast of the town of Mo i Rana. The 0.62-square-kilometre (150-acre) village has a population (2013) of 615. The population density is 992 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,570/sq mi).[1] The village is located along the river Ranelva. European route E06 and the Nordland Line both pass through the village.[3]
