Stonewall Jackson High School is a public secondary school in Bull Run, Prince William County, Virginia, near the city of Manassas. In May 2007, Newsweek magazine ranked Stonewall Jackson 530th in the nation on its annual list of "Best High Schools in America." In 2001, Time magazine named Stonewall Jackson as its High School of the Year.[1][2]

Curriculum
Stonewall Jackson hosts an International Baccalaureate program, which was instituted in 1993. According to the Prince William County Schools, it is ranked 18th in the nation and 33rd in performance in the world among IB schools. Maureen Ellis is the IB Coordinator and her success is seen in the growing number of students taking IB at Stonewall Jackson. In the 2010–2011 school year, roughly 41% of students were involved in some form of accelerated program and 470 IB Exams were administered to 200 students, often one student taking up to six exams.
