Steven Paul Daigle (born May 24, 1973) is an American actor, television personality, and porn performer. He is known for his work in gay pornography and on the U.S. reality-television show Big Brother.

Background

Daigle was a geographic consultant and rodeo competitor. He has attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas as well as the University of North Texas in Denton. He earned a bachelor's degree in general agriculture/marketing.

Daigle is a champion bull rider on the gay rodeo circuit.[1]

Adult pornographic performer

Daigle agreed to star in Steven Daigle XXXposed, a gay porn film directed by Chi Chi LaRue under the director's Channel 1 Releasing studio.[2] It was released on February 20, 2010. Since then, he has performed regularly in gay porn movies.[3]

It was reported that Daigle has also appeared in straight pornography. On October 1, 2010, he appeared in a movie with two women where he engaged in heterosexual intercourse for the first time on film.[4] Although he has previously had sex with women when he was younger, it was his first time on film and his first time with two women at the same time.[5] The film caused controversy because no condoms were used for the shoot, whereas Daigle used condoms in his previous gay porn. Daigle claims that he was "crucified" for going condomless in the scene, with critics believing the decision to be rooted in homophobia.[6]

Personal life

Daigle is openly gay.[7][8]

In October 2010, Daigle was arrested and booked for misdemeanor battery after allegedly battering Trent Locke, his now ex-boyfriend and a fellow pornographic actor. Locke was hospitalized in an intensive care unit following the incident.[9][10]
