Stare Pole ([ˈstarɛ ˈpɔlɛ]; German: Altfelde) is a village in Malbork County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Stare Pole.[1] It lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) east of Malbork and 51 km (32 mi) south-east of the regional capital Gdańsk.

While traditionally Prussian, with the Second Peace of Thorn in 1466 the area became part of the Kingdom of Poland until 1772. It was part of the Kingdom of Prussia and Germany (East Prussia) between 1772–1945. After 1945, the native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles who had been expelled from Eastern Polish territories which were annexed by the Soviet Union. The village has a population of 1,834.
