Extracurricular activities
Soundview has many clubs, each one hosted by a teacher, where students can meet others who share an immediate interest. Some clubs offered have been the Knitting Club, the Politics Club, the Chess Club, and the Yearbook Club. Usually, the clubs meet once a week. Soundview's athletes are the Soundview Bulldogs, and sports played throughout the year include soccer, basketball, bowling and Ultimate Frisbee. To foster a sense of community and school spirit, all students are encouraged to attend at least some games. In past years, the school has had an annual trip to a foreign country, and students have been able to visit England, Italy, Greece, China, Russia, Spain, and Argentina.
