Skalisze [skaˈliʂɛ] (German: Skallischen Forst, Anteil Kreis Angerburg)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Budry, within Węgorzewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[2] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Budry, 18 km (11 mi) north-east of Węgorzewo, and 112 km (70 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
